The following are recent comments from some of the guests staying
at Dimora la Cascata:
This
is an extract from a letter printed in issue 12 of the 'Italy' magazine:
My
partner and I drove 1300 miles and finally arrived in Lunigiana,
at Tuscany's northernmost tip. We had rented part of a watermill
at Verrucola which made us gasp it was so beautiful
I felt
we had gone back to the 13th century with cobbled stone streets,
quaint old houses and the most stunning castle just next door. In
perfect timing for my birthday we enjoyed the local archery festa
which took place over two days at the Piazza Medicea, Fivizzano.
Everyone wore medieval costume and in the evening the church in
the piazza was a backdrop for the most amazing firework display
.I
hope the readers of 'Italy' get a chance to experience the delights
of the two villages. I am sure they will feel like we did - that
they will never want to go home.

I
want to wriet to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at Dimora
La Cascata. I am so glad I came across it on the net all those months
ago. The position was fabulous, the scenery glorious, the apartment
well-appointed.....I am hoping one day to return with my 2 teenage
sons

We had an
absolutely fabulous time here at Dimora la Cascata. The setting
is tranquil and serene, the location central to a lot of exploring
This
place is a treasure. We will definitely be back.

We love the
place - especially the terrace where we watched the ducks cavorting,
the fish leaping and the water ever cascading

The Mill
is perfect. Sad to leave to go to rainy Wales. The people were warm
and welcoming, the area beautiful.

If ever a
little bit of heaven dropped off it landed here in Verrucola. We
needed to chill out, oh boy have we chilled! This really is the
most fabulous place to stay for many reasons
. The world needs
places like this!
